LIERO-GP README


Game:
Liero is a clone of worms (in realtime, not turn based) that someone made on the internet. Liero-GP is a clone of liero for the GP32.

Instructions:
Start Screen:
On the start screen, press L to lower selected value, L to up selected value. Down (D-Pad) Changes selected value, the selected value is red. Press start to play after finished adjusting settings.

Gameplay:
You are the red worm and the enemy(GP32 plays aginst you, no RF yet) is the green worm. You need to kill the enemy (red health bar goes to 0) and he needs to kill you :) Every time you/enemy dies, whoever died loses a point (start with as many points as you slected) and whoever gets to 0 first looses. After you have died, you have to respawn to come alive again (automaticially happens when you die) There are diffrent weapons to use (see weapon section for list) and each one has its own 'charge bar' (blue bar, you don't see the enemies, but he has to wait to charge, too) some of the less powerful weapons can be shot lots of times before the charge bar goes to 0 and some can be shot only once. After a charge bar becomes 0, it starts charging again, and the speed depends on the weapon. Also, a weapon won't start re-charging till it is 100% finished.

Controls:
Go Left: Left-DPad
Go Right: Right-DPad
Aim Up (the little square that is near you is the direction you are aiming): Up-DPad
Aim Down: Down-DPad
Jump: A
Shoot: B
Show Selected Weapon (text will appera on top of you to show you): Select
Switch Weapon Left: Select+L
Switch Weapon Right: Select+R
(Un)Pause: Start
Aim all the way up: L
Aim all the way down: R

Weapons (total health for players is 1000 and total charge for each weapon is 1000):
MiniGun: Takes away 50 charge points per shot, Charges at 15 charge points per frame, does 10 damage
Chiquita Bomb: The bomb dosen't hurt, but the bannanas (yes :P) that come out when it explodes do, explodes with 40 bannanas, takes away 1000 charge per shot, charges at 10 charge points per frame
Chiquita Bomb Bannanas: Takes away no charge (comes out of a bomb), Dosen't need charging, does 15 damage
Bullet Trap: Takes away 1000 charge, charges at 5 charge points per frame, shoots minigun bullets into it at 25 degrees starting 20px away
Nintendo(tm) GBA: Takes away 1000 charge, charges at 4 charge points pre frame, takes 250 health points away, does through walls
