This game is called E-voidance, it's kind of like pacman without the rails. You play a drug addict mouse who has been told by the doctors to lay off the E's and take aspirin instead (yeh I know it sounds quite reasonable doesn't it), henceforth the name E-voidance.

Basically the player as the mouse must navigate around the screen avoiding the nasty E's whilst collecting the white tokens in order to record a high score. If you move around whilst the A button is depressed you experience a boost which leads to being able to dodge skillfully out of the way of the enemies.

The counter in the top right hand corner of the screen is incremented each time you collect a white token but I ran out of time and was unable to implement a high score save system so when you die (you start with 3 lives) the game pauses and you should be able to snapshot the screen if you're that bothered (e.g. if you score more than my measly high score of 37 I demand photographic evidence)

Everytime you reach the gargantuan total of 30 points you gain an extra life which as you may well imagine comes in handy (but only happens once in a blue moon)

When a new token appears on screen you have approximately 2 seconds to reach the next, otherwise a new enemy will appear on screen, so that should place the player in a minor dilemna as to collecting the tokens quickly but avoiding the mighty Es

Apologies for the general shoddy appearance and amateurish aroma surrounding the whole project but as is normally the case for competitions like these time is of the essence and I never had enough of it (with a couple of extra weeks, it'd would end up dead good and I had loads of ideas in the last couple of hours that I might try putting in if I want to waste any more time on it)

Have fun and remember kids (drugs are bad for you (for mice anyway))
